2nd Annual "Roots and Wings" Gala & Auction a Success!

The second annual gala by Noank Group Homes and Support Services held on January 12, 2013 was a huge success! The fundraiser raised $30,000 that will be used to build an all-purpose meeting and activity room on the second floor of the garage at Gray Farm House in Ledyard.  The proceeds this year was nearly double the amount raised at the first annual gala in 2012. One of the high points of the event was a presentation by former resident Samantha Day spoke about the encouragement and help she received from the staff at Gray Farm House to pursue her aspirations to become involved with artistic expression. Samantha currently works at an art gallery in New York City.
